Manchester City wish to thank the generosity of the supporters who raised more than £10,000 for the Youth Academy at last Saturday's Academy Gala Dinner auction.
Richard Dunne’s shirt from February’s derby, signed by the skipper, raised £2,500 alone. Among other items auctioned off were a Brazil shirt signed by several members of the 1970 World Cup winning side, a pair of goalkeeping gloves signed by Joe Hart and framed shirt from the victorious Youth Cup team.
600 people came along to the dinner to acclaim the success of the Academy side in bringing the Youth Cup back to City for the first time since 1986
