It was a disappointing day for City's Academy sides, with both the Under 18s and Under 16s slipping to defeat against their counterparts from Everton.
The senior side lost 0-2, while in their fixture the Under 16s could not reply to the Toffees’ three goals.
West Brom are the visitors to Platt Lane next Saturday.
