City’s Under 18 side left it late to continue their winning start to the season.

A last minute penalty from Adam Drury gave the junior Blues a 2-1 win away at Reading, who had hit back after falling behind to a goal in the 12th minute from the in-form Harry Bunn.

The hosts drew level just after half time, but the goal stung City into action and manager Scott Sellars felt they deserved their second straight win of 2010/11.

“Collectively it was another excellent performance overall,” said Scott, “but I was disappointed that we had let Reading back into the game.

“We responded well to their goal, and I thought we just about nicked it in the end over what was a very good Reading side.”
