It’s nearly the summer holidays which means that Platt Lane’s doors are opening once more for the half-term soccer schools.
This is the only place to learn how to play the City way with expert UEFA qualified coaches leading the schools for week-long footballing masterclasses.
City Sports Development Manager Mike Haughton is looking forward to the schools already.
“This is an experience not to be missed – the schools are a huge hit with kids every summer and we often see the same children coming back for more every summer,” said Haughton.
“There’s a feel-good factor around the club right now which we hope kids attending will enjoy – it’s a chance to stave off summer holiday boredom and make new friends, as well as improving their footballing skills and techniques.”
Children can look forward to a blend of genuine City coaching drills which will teach children to improve their touch on the ball, their passing skills and teamwork.
Each school runs from 9.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday and parents are asked to provide suitable kit and a packed lunch.
