Tosin was introduced as a 41st minute substitute at Burton FC’s Pirelli Stadium for an England side knowing that it needed just a point to secure the shield.
As it happened, they made sure of all three points thanks to a late goal from MK Dons forward Giorgio Rasulo (above).
Middlesbrough’s Callum Cooke played a one-two with Rasulo which was intercepted by the Scottish defence but the ball rolled invitingly for the half-Italian striker to pounce and curl home into the far corner.
It was a robust performance from England and Adarabioyo was excellent after his second half introduction - calm in possession and strong in the tackle to help the Three Lions over the line.
Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Tosin and his teammates for their successful defence of the shield.
