Adam Sadler’s men recorded a dominant win in their last match, a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace which left their manager delighted.
Sadler praised the performances of Bytyqi and Horsfield after the game, citing their attitude and application during the week as the standard he wants to see from his team for the rest of the season.
“I’m really pleased, in the first half it was difficult to get a foothold into the game and we defended really well – we were very compact and organised which we’d worked on during the week,” said Sadler.
“Devante Cole’s goal was an exceptional finish and a great pass from Horsy - I was also absolutely delighted that Sinan got himself on the scoresheet – he’s an outstanding young person and he put such a good shift in.
“In the case of James [Horsfield], he’s the proof that if you have quality underpinned with extreme dedication and professionalism, you get your rewards – he was excellent.”

The match may come too soon for Jack Byrne to make his return from international duty, he was instrumental in leading Ireland U17s to the next stage of the European Championship qualifying rounds, scoring a hat-trick against Macedonia.
City currently lie in third place in the Barclays Under-18s Premier League and can climb into second with a win if results go in their favour. Wolves are just a couple of places back in fifth and will be a dangerous opposition for Sadler’s young charges.
We’ll bring you a report of how the Blues got on shortly after full-time.
