What happened...

Manchester City extended their unbeaten run in the U18 Premier League to 19 matches with a 2-1 victory at Derby County’s Moor Farm Training Centre.

City took the lead within the first few minutes as Luke Bolton’s whipped cross was deflected in by the covering Derby defender Fuseine Rashid.

The match was a scrappy one from that point but when Derby striker Jahvan Davidson-Miller lunged in on City captain Joel Latibeaudiere, the hosts were down to ten men.

That didn’t stop them equalising however with attacking midfielder Jordan Brown getting on the scoresheet for Derby just minutes after Davidson-Miller’s red.

City were straight back on the offensive and took the lead again with less than 10 minutes remaining. Lorenzo Gonzalez‘s penalty beat Joe Fryatt in the Derby goal and sealed the win for City.
