Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2015 arriving in Manchester, the Etihad Stadium hosted an exclusive photo shoot featuring the competition’s twenty official team buses.

The buses, which are the primary mode of transportation for all of the players taking part in the competition, have been impressively wrapped with each nations’ colours, logo and Twitter hashtag.

To show them off, what better place than the Etihad Stadium, the host venue for England’s fixture v Uruguay on Saturday 10 October?

Even our City mascots, Moonbeam and Moonchester, got involved, appropriately arriving to the shoot styling the England RWC15 polo shirt.

This isn’t the first time the Etihad Stadium has hosted a non-footballing event either.

In the past, the multipurpose venue has offered a wide range of sporting and entertainment opportunities everyone can enjoy.

From sold out world tour concerts featuring Take That and One Direction, to the Rugby League’s exciting annual Magic Weekend, there’s always something happening at the Etihad Stadium.
