We’ve teamed up with our Official Automotive Partner to launch a creative writing competition, which gives three lucky Blues the chance to be a player mascot or player escort at our Premier League game against Liverpool on Sunday 19 March.
So, if you’ve a child or relative aged between five and 12-years-old, it’s time for them to showcase their storytelling skills.
To be in with a chance of winning this unforgettable experience, Nissan is inviting young fans to pen a short piece recalling their favourite journey to a City game.
Be it a short story or a poem – you have 150 words to showcase your flair for writing.
If you need inspiring, think back to your first ever trip to watch your beloved Blues in action or your first away day following City on the road.
Whether it’s travelling to the Etihad Stadium or up and down the country and across Europe, our young fans have enjoyed some fantastic journeys following their heroes and we can’t wait to hear your stories.
The overall winner will lead out the City team with the matchday captain, while the two runners up will be player escorts for the game.
All three will receive at least 2x general access tickets to the Liverpool game for themselves and their parent/guardian, plus other City goodies and matchday experiences, while the competition winner (player mascot) will also receive a full City kit.
Enter by submitting a poem or short story about via email to MCFCcompetition@fuseint.com along with the following details:
- Parent/guardian’s name and contact number
- Full name and age of child between 5-12
- Home address
- A current photo
- Favourite Manchester City Player
- Favourite hobbies & interests
- Football kit size (S/M/L) – jersey & shorts
The competition runs from 3 March 2017 (08:00 GMT) to 8 March 2017 (17:00 GMT).
Entrants must be Manchester City fans aged 5-12 years old, based in the UK and able to attend the Manchester City v Liverpool match on Sunday 19 March 2017.
Winners will be announced Friday 10 March 2017.
