We have been inundated with your tributes to Mike Doyle, who has passed away aged 64. Mike was an all-time City great, truly a player that fans saw as one of their own, and below are just a selection of your memories of him.

Dave Nichol - RIP Mike, a truly magnificent, hard player. His passion in the derby matches was there for all to see. I grew up admiring this man, he was, and always will be a city legend.

Martin Leslie Goddard -  Saw Mike play many times during the ‘60s and ‘70s and he was always prepared to stand up and be counted.

 

He had the same commitment to the shirt as we, the fans, which isn’t always the case.
