The latest addition to the Blues’ wardrobe will be worn when Pep Guardiola’s men travel to and from all UEFA Champions League away games.
The manager starred alongside the likes of Sergio Aguero, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling in a video to launch the new collection, which has been inspired by the diverse range of personalities within the City squad.
Shaped by the fashion brand’s iconic silhouettes, fabrics and accessories, the uniforms combine formal tailoring with off-duty denim and include a tailored navy jacket which features the City crest near the notch lapel.
Nuria Tarre, Chief Marketing Officer for City Football Group, said: “Manchester City is particularly excited by this collection from Dsquared2 and its smart casual approach.
“The collaboration combines the exciting worlds of football and fashion and it’s fantastic to have such innovative and creative partners on board.”
Friends of Guardiola, Dsquared2 founders and designers, Dan and Dean Caten, echoed this sentiment.
“Our work is shaped by our passion for the game and for the faces of this team, as well as our close friendship with Pep Guardiola,” they explained.
“We worked closely with him and the rest of the team to define each piece.
“The looks celebrate the youth, athleticism, and contemporary masculinity of these amazing and stylish players and their coach.”
