Manchester City celebrated the start of its 125th anniversary season by unveiling City and new kit partner PUMA's specially designed commemorative anniversary kit

The kit will be worn by the men’s team when they take on Liverpool in the Community Shield at Wembley, on Sunday 4 August.

The kit is inspired by the Club’s history, with specific design elements voted for by the Club’s fans.

Cityzens were invited to vote exclusively on the details, such as: which crest the kit would sport and where it would be positioned, whether it would be in full colour or monochrome, which Manchester symbol would feature on the back (the ship, the bee or the rose) and the commemorative wording on the inside tape of the neck.
