Young people with an interest in science and technology have been telling Manchester City how they see the future of football.

Following the recent Startup Week, the Club hosted City Football Group’s first ever Startup Challenge Kids on Saturday 6 July, with 50 children learning about technologies including VR and robotics.

They were then tasked with developing innovative solutions around challenges including sustainability, personalisation and uniting a global fan base, before stopping for a quick kickaround with new signing Angelino, who popped in to say hello.

Having honed their best ideas, the event concluded with each team’s product pitches, delivered in front of their parents and the judging panel.

It was a tough decision, but the judges agreed that Team 6 and their stadium services app were the winners.
