Manchester City fans have generated a total income of over £45,000 through this year’s Blue Run, with all event surplus supporting City in the Community’s (CITC) mental health programme.
The Blue Run, which was held earlier this year, saw over 800 fans complete a 2.5 or 5km route around the Etihad Campus all whilst being covered in blue paint.
Fans, who completed the fun run in varying times, outfits and styles, were also able to get their hands on bespoke medals, t-shirts and goodie-bags.
Others completed their own Blue Run challenges from countries around the world.
Race highlights included former City defender and current CITC Trustee, Nedum Onuoha, who signalled the start of the race, as well as a colourful LGBTQ+ Cheer Zone organised by Club partner, Nissan.
