Established in 2022, the Buenos Aires branch has grown significantly and now have over 70 members who passionately support the Club.
Speaking to Vicente the branch’s Chair, “the growth of our branch was significantly and positively impacted by Manchester City’s visit to Argentina. We received a great number of requests to join the branch in the days leading up to the event, on the day of the event itself, and even the days after, highlighting the substantial visibility that the visit took on our branch.”
We collaborated closely with a local influencer to raise awareness about the visit and promoted the presence of our branch. The response from the Argentinian fans was overwhelming, with fans of all ages coming together to celebrate our club’s rich history and success.
The visit showed to us the growing popularity of Manchester City in Argentina and the passion of our dedicated fanbase. As the Chairman and founder of the Official Supporters Club in Buenos Aires, I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished thus far, and I’m excited to continue growing our branch and spreading the sky-blue love across our country.
The main goal of the branch is to gather people that feel the same passion for the club, no matter where they are, and that is what makes us feel closer to the club. For Argentinians especially, we are far from the Etihad, and bringing the possibility to the supporters of gathering somewhere with a great atmosphere and sharing a match and the feelings that we put on them, is something worth experiencing.’
