Last week City in the Community (CITC) and the team were delighted to undertake our annual kit donation day.

Supported by first team, women’s side and Academy donations, and harnessing the power of the teamwork and CITC transport, the CITC team took to the Manchester community to donate thousands of items of kit to partner schools, community centres and members of the CITC family across the North West.

Donation items included branded PUMA Man City kit, training kit, boots and all manners of sportswear to partner community groups, providing tangible benefits for many organisations and participants involved with those groups.

Young people in the community had the opportunity to receive an assortment of football kits, training kits, football boots and trainers.

Furthermore, CITC also made a donation of warm winter clothes and coats to organisations working with those who are homeless or living in sheltered accommodation

Craig Bell, Football Partnerships Manager at CITC said, “We’re delighted to support our partner schools and organisations in the community, and we’re so pleased to have the opportunity to show our support through the distribution and donation of sports kit throughout our communities.

“I’d like to say a big thank you to PUMA and the teams for providing us with additional kit and items to donate, as well as a job well done to members of the CITC team who helped sort and distribute on the day.

“We look forward to seeing all the participants throughout our partner organisations, schools and communities who received the kit enjoying their new sportswear at CITC and sports events hopefully very soon.”
