City in the Community is delighted to announce the relaunch of the City Play Together programme from Monday 19th April.

City Play Together is a new CITC initiative to help get parents and their children to take part in physical activity together.

With the easing of COVID-19 restrictions allowing parent and child groups to resume sessions indoors, CITC will be hosting weekly sessions at three community venues, while there will also be sessions taking place at 15 Sure Start Centres across Greater Manchester.

Natalie Sutcliffe, leader of the City Play Together programme, said: “We are thrilled to be able to provide these sessions for the community once again following a short break due to coronavirus restrictions.

“The sessions we deliver last for 45 minutes and they provide a brilliant opportunity for families to stay active together, helping to promote healthy and active lifestyles within the local community.”

Families can sign-up to our community venue sessions by scanning the QR code on the City Play Together leaflet, or by emailing cityplay@cityfootball.com.
