Manchester City's charity, City in the Community (CITC), has a variety of sessions lined up across the summer, keeping people physically and mentally active.

Schools may be off for six weeks, but sessions continue across many of CITC’s programmes for all ages.

Those who take park in Walking Football sessions and Imagine Your Goals at the City Football Academy and Manchester Tennis and Football Centre will be able to continue to attend as normal throughout July and August.

CITC’s dementia programme, ReminisCITY will also continue through August.

The programme aims to engage and support people living within Manchester, who suffer from mild to moderate forms of dementia.

It creates a dementia safe environment for participants to enjoy social and physical activity, through the conduit of football and Manchester City, promoting active and engaged lifestyles in the face of the challenges dementia can bring.

For those that attend the Kicks project, all sessions will be running as normal across all settings, bar Astley, Falinge and Benchill Kicks sessions, which will resume in September.

Park sessions will be held on Monday July 31, August 7, 14 and 21 between 1-3pm at Bradford Park, Ladybarn Park and Scotland Hall Road play zone.

On Wednesday August 2, 9 and 16 at the CFA, CITC will be holding disability soccer schools. Sessions will run from 10am-2pm.

Those who are currently signed onto the City Careers programme on a Tuesday and a Thursday will also still be able to continue to attend sessions as normal throughout the summer.

School sessions and City Play Together sessions will return to their normal times again in September.
