City in the Community announced the first winners of its new Prize Draw last month and, in a recent interview, one fan discussed their experience of signing-up and that winning feeling.

Jake, a City supporter based in the United States and part of the of the Frisco Sky Blues Official Supporters Club in Dallas, won one of the biggest prizes on offer - a home shirt signed by Erling Haaland.

On the process of signing up Jake said: “It must’ve been easy! Because I don’t remember it being a process. It was just a couple of clicks, and I was done.”

Several more topics  were discussed, including how the Prize Draw helps international supporters feel more connected to the Club, and how he would encourage other supporters to take part in the draw.

Jake added: “One of the things that our Club does very well is we take care of the people in our communities. Whether that be in Manchester, or around the world, and I think that’s just part of what being a City fan is.”

“I try to support the Club’s initiatives, whether I am going to win or not. I’ve got a supporter’s club in Dallas, Frisco Sky Blues, and our main goal is to try to be part of the Club, so being so far away, any initiative that Man City has we’d love to support that.”
