To round off City’s community engagement activities on pre-season tour, coaches from club charity, City in the Community, delivered a free, inclusive football clinic on Friday to over 50 children from the Boys and Girls Clubs of America in Columbus.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of America’s mission is to provide all young people with the opportunity to reach their full potential as productive and caring citizens across the United States.
Kovacic, Wright and Oboavwoduo paid a special visit to Friday’s session and spent time engaging with the kids on and off the pitch.
Our stars got involved by showing off some of their skills, while also watching and coaching some of the kids involved on the day.
The afternoon ended with photo and signing opportunities with the players, and club mascot Moonchester even made an appearance to surprise the attendees.
