Our 2022 Global Young Leaders Summit has begun in style, with our Young Leaders receiving a very special welcome at Manchester Airport!
After journeying to Manchester with the Summit’s presenting partner Etihad Airways, Cityzens Giving Young Leaders were surprised by none other than Club mascots Moonchester and Moonbeam.
Many other lucky travellers were also delighted to get their picture with the Moonies at Arrivals.
The Young Leaders then travelled to the City Football Academy, where they will be taking part in a five-day football-based leadership summit.
Now in its eighth year, the Global Summit is recognising and celebrating the Young Leaders’ achievements in using football to positively impact the health of young people in their communities.
