Manchester City Esports can confirm that Fortnite star Joshua ‘Cold’ Butler will join North American Esports org XSET on loan for the Esports World Cup.
The rising American talent joined the Club in February 2024 after a promising spell at Agent Gaming.NA across half of 2023.
Shortly after his arrival to our esports roster, he became City’s first pro player to be crowned FNCS champion.
After we narrowly missed out on qualification for the Fortnite tournament at the Esports World Cup, which runs between Thursday 8 and Sunday 11 August, he will represent XSET on a temporary basis until the end of the competition
Cold will continue to represent Manchester City in all other Fortnite events. We wish him good luck in the competition.
