Jamie is raising money for CITC and Cancer Fund for Children in his native Ireland, with all money raised on Saturday going towards the great work of both charities.
Here in Manchester, the funds with support CITC’s ‘City Thrive’ programme, which aims to develop young people’s understanding of mental health.
The Manchester City Academy Coach will soon set sail across the Atlantic Ocean as he rows solo 3,000 miles to Antigua from the Canary Islands as part of his Nothing Ventured Campaign.
Jamie has previously run six ultra-marathons in six days across the Sahara Desert during the Marathon Des Sables as part of the first challenge of his 2022 campaign.

The matchday will celebrate all things, Jamie. In addition to raising awareness of the campaign, a team of fundraisers will be present to raise as much money as possible for the two charities.
Academy players, staff and CITC volunteers will be collecting donations for the campaign, so please be generous if you can.
Jamie will also be pitch side at half-time so watch out for him talking about how his preparations are going.
