City face Chelsea in the last four of the FA Cup on Saturday 17 April and Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup final eight days later and, whilst we all can’t be there in person, we are offering fans the chance to be there in spirit by proudly showing their colours at the national stadium.
The Club will take your flag or banner down to Wembley, install it in the seating blocks behind the City goal and return it to Manchester for collection.
To take part, you will need to do the following:
- Drop the flag/banner off at Grey Car Park at the Etihad Stadium between 8:30am and 6pm on Wednesday 14 April. If you are driving, you will be able to park at Grey Car Park. It will be compulsory to wear a mask at all times whilst at the stadium campus unless you are exempt.
- Enclose the flag/banner in a plastic bag and attach your name, address and telephone number to the back of it by stapling it on with a piece of paper. We will take receipt of your flag/banner and give you a ticket which you must retain in order to collect it.
- The flags/banners will be available for collection from Grey Car Park on Tuesday 27 April between 8:30am and 6pm. You will have to provide the ticket given to you at drop off as proof of ownership. Any flag/banners that have not been collected by 6pm on Tuesday 27 April will be recycled.
As supporters are attending the Carabao Cup final, the venue has requested that all flags/banners must have the necessary fire certification.
We cannot guarantee that your flag/banner will be displayed at Wembley for the Carabao Cup final if you don’t have fire certification.
You can provide us with a photograph of your fire certificate, or, we can take a photograph of the document when you drop your flag/banner off at the Etihad Stadium.
Fire certification is not required for your flag/banner to be displayed at the FA Cup semi-final.
