Having previously hosted the event in various spaces within Co-op Live, with bars and screens aplenty, we will once again be opening the doors to the popular Vertu Place for an upcoming fan zone ahead of City’s Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday 19 April.
This means more room, a large screen to watch the early kick-off between Everton and Liverpool and more pre-match entertainment!
We will also have the Carabao Cup in the fan zone giving supporters the opportunity to have your photograph taken with it.
Don’t forget in addition to showing the early match, we will also have a live DJ playing pre-match music ahead of kick-off. There will also be competitions and prizes to be won during the event.
The event is free for all home fans - you just need to show your matchday ticket to be able to enter.
This is an indoor event, and entry is via Gate D, located at the Forge Lane end of Joe Mercer Way (see Co-op Live map).
Doors open three hours prior to kick-off, with last orders called an hour before the game starts to give you enough time to get to your match seat.
Drinks such as Asahi Super Dry and Pepsi Max will be priced the same as inside the Etihad Stadium.
With the Manchester Marathon taking place on Sunday, any fan who completes the race before attending the fan zone will be entitled to a complimentary drink as a congratulations on their effort (T&Cs apply).
You must present your medal upon arrival, when a member of staff will issue you a drinks voucher which can be redeemed at bars on the ground level of the venue. Please note, vouchers must be collected on entry - you won’t be able to enter the event and return to the gates and collect one at a later stage.
Access to the indoor areas is subject to capacity so arrive early to avoid disappointment!
