Hosted in Mumbai, this year’s summit will unite Young Leaders from across India and allow them to connect, learn and celebrate the communities they represent.
Young Leaders will travel from seven cities across the country Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kochi, Bangalore and Mumbai where they run community football programmes in their local communities.
The Etihad Young Leaders Summit has previously been hosted in Delhi and Bangalore as part of Manchester City’s global community partnership with Etihad Airways, which focuses on empowering healthier lives for young people across India.

Community projects are delivered with the support of Magic Bus India Foundation.
Led by coaches from City in the Community, the summit is designed to empower Young Leaders with the skills, confidence and knowledge needed to deliver inclusive football programmes.
These programmes aim to support the mental and physical wellbeing of young people in their local communities, using football as a tool for positive change.
Beyond coach education, the summit provides a unique opportunity for Young Leaders to build relationships with peers from different regions of India. Participants will share experiences, exchange cultures and celebrate what they are most proud of in their communities.

The summit brings together Young Leaders who are delivering community projects across India, using football to support healthier and more inclusive communities.
Over the past two years, the projects have supported 74 Young Leaders and reached more than 8,500 children through the community football programming.
This year, the programme continues to grow, funding two new community projects in Hyderabad and Kochi supporting the training of an additional 59 Young Leaders who will deliver impact in their own communities.
