The rising American talent joins Man City Esports having most recently represented Agent Gaming.NA for half of 2023.
Competing in the North America Central region of Fortnite competitions, Cold is one of the newest but most exciting competitors in the pro scene.
Cold began competing in Epic Cash Cups and Fortnite FNCS Chapters in 2020 after transitioning from playing on controller on his PlayStation5 to PC and adapting to life as a keyboard and mouse pro.
City’s newest signing spent two years perfecting his craft before a breakout year in 2023 where he won multiple cash cups and qualifying events before claiming his first FNCS title.
Cold, alongside his duo Acorn, were crowned the winner of the Chapter 4 Season 1 Fortnite Championship Series in October, becoming one of the youngest players to ever lift the trophy.
Now representing his sixth organisation since starting his Fortnite career, Cold is excited for what’s to come with Man City Esports and the challenges he will face as he looks to claim another FNCS title.
“I was honoured that Man City Esports wanted to sign me so I’m looking forward to making the organisation, my fans and my family proud,” said Cold.
“Having won FNCS Major I in 2023 there’s definitely pressure to repeat the feat in 2024 but I’ll be using that as motivation to have my best year yet.
“I can’t wait to see what we can achieve as an organisation this year!”
Everyone at Manchester City excited to welcome Cold to the Fortnite roster and we would like to wish him the best of luck competing this year.
