The Club are launching two new Junior Cityzens competitions for the 2020/21 campaign, providing youngsters with the chance to win some great experiences whilst they support City from home.
At every home game, one lucky fan will be selected as our official Junior Cityzen Fan of the Match.
The winner will be included in the starting line-up on the Etihad Stadium jumbo screen, have their name read out by the stadium announcer and feature in the digital matchday programme.
They will also get their hands on a host of brilliant prizes, including: a personalised letter from Fernandinho, a shirt signed by the whole squad, a full 2020/21 home kit and a City goodie bag.
Our second competition gives Junior Cityzens the chance to be part of the City Kids Fan Wall at the Etihad for our first home game of the league season against Leicester City on Sunday 27 September.
Nine supporters will be picked to feature on the stadium screens, where they will be streamed live whilst cheering on Pep Guardiola’s side from home and they will also be part of CityTV’s live We’re Not Really Here matchday show.
This prize provides exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the stadium on matchday, allowing supporters to watch live footage of the players’ warm-up before kick-off, whilst you will also be included in pre-match announcements on the jumbo screens.
The Man City Kids Fanzone presenter will host the Fan Wall and the winners will also take part in a pre-match quiz and will receive a full 2020/21 home kit and a City goodie bag.
Both competitions are open to UK and international fans aged between 7-12 years and the winners will be selected from the Junior Cityzens platform.
To be included in the City Kids Fan Wall, entrants must:
- Have a laptop or tablet with a web camera and internet connection.
- Be available from 15:00 (UK) and for the duration of the Leicester game, which kicks-off at 16:30 on Sunday 27 September.
- Be available for a test call with a parent or guardian at 12:00 (UK) on the day of the game.
