Manchester City are delighted to be once again supporting Level Playing Field's Weeks of Action.

Running from Saturday 29 February to Sunday 15 March, the annual campaign aims to inspire change and shine a spotlight on those who make a difference to the enjoyment and experience of disabled sports fans.

We will be celebrating the 15th year of the campaign at our Premier League fixture against Burnley on Saturday 14 March (3pm kick-off).

Earlier this season, we launched our Sensory Room at the Etihad Stadium - a space which has been specially designed for children with sensory processing issues that may otherwise discourage them and their families from attending a match.

The room has proved a major success with matchday spaces fully booked until the end of the season.

We also now welcome groups from the local community on non-matchdays as part of our Etihad Stadium Day Trips, run by City in the Community coaches, including special educational needs schools and mainstream schools as a disability-awareness and education piece.

In order to further assist supporters with sensory processing issues, we are now pleased to be able to support with provision of a sensory bag in the hope it will make the experience at the Etihad Stadium even more enjoyable and comfortable.

The bags include:

  • Ear defenders
  • Mini soft football
  • Fidget spinner
  • Fidget toy
  • Lanyard mood thermometer

To apply for a sensory bag, we ask that all supporters contact the Access Team directly by telephone on 0161 444 1894 (opt 1, 2, 2) where the team will complete an application form with you to ensure we fully understand the requirements of the user and are therefore better informed to assist.

Once the bag is ordered, it will be available for collection from the stadium prior to the day of the game or we can dispatch to you to ease your journey to the stadium.

To find out more about the Sensory Room, visit this page, or call 0161 444 1894 (option 1, option 2, option 2) to speak to a member of the Access Team.

In addition, the Access Team are here to support all supporters with their individual requirements and offer other services such as our audio descriptive commentary for blind and partially sighted supporters. Please contact the Access Team on the number above or email access@mancity.com to discuss any access requirements you may need additional support with on matchdays.
