My grandad started his professional playing career at City in the 60’s, so its a no-brainer really.
I remember my first home game really well. I was six years old and my dad took my brother and I to the FA Cup game against Nottingham Forest.
Shaun Wright-Phillips came off injured and it went downhill from there, we ended up losing 3-0.
I was disheartened, but my dad told me I better get used to it as that’s what it’s like to be a City fan - little did we know what was to come!
He bought us a season ticket the following year and I’ve sat in the same seat ever since.
I’m lucky enough to have a lovely community of people sat around us.
We’ve all sat in the same seats for more than 10 years and know each other well.
The guy who sits behind me rubs my dad’s head like a magic lamp when we need to score a goal - it has about a 50% success rate!
My favourite match days are definitely winter Champions League nights, there’s a magical feeling in the air and to me there’s nothing better.
Supporting City is all I’ve ever known so its difficult to imagine my life without it.
I’d probably be a lot richer but without some incredible memories so I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Some of the best moments of my life have been following the Blues, I wouldn’t want to support any other team.
I love how many friends I have made within the City community not just in person but online as well.
It’s important to have an outlet to celebrate wins and talk about defeats with people who feel the same way.
Sometimes it’s difficult to be taken seriously as a female football fan, but everyone I have met through Man City have been lovely.
The past nine, nearly ten years have been an absolute joy to watch. Even after all this time, I still can’t believe Pep is our manager.
I’ve witnessed things I never thought I’d be able to and for that I am forever grateful to not only Pep but also the wider coaching team and of course the players.
As a team we have changed the way English football is played and created a legacy that will never be forgotten.
