The Club’s charity, City in the Community (CITC), has launched a new fundraising initiative, ‘Charity of the Year’.

Selecting CITC as your organisation’s Charity of the Year is a great way to make a difference in the community.

CITC’s Charity of the Year partnerships are a new way for local businesses in and around Greater Manchester to get involved with City in the Community and help raise funds over the course of 2024.

By working together, your organisation can help to empower healthier lives through football and make a real difference for thousands of people across Greater Manchester.

In return for your support, CITC can offer your workplace an opportunity to take part in existing charity events, or support with running your own fundraisers throughout the year.

Speaking on the launch of the Charity of the Year partnerships, Head of Partnerships and Fundraising at City in the Community, Sam Dainty, said: “Everyone at City in the Community is pleased to launch our new Charity of the Year initiative.

“The team has been focused on expanding our fundraising strategy to include a business-to-business approach, bringing together organisations which are passionate about making a difference in Greater Manchester.

“We see this opportunity as a superb way for businesses to align themselves with CITC, whilst showing support for a local charity and helping to empower healthier lives through football.

“We are really looking forward to working with more organisations going forward!”
