Manchester City’s representatives for the ePremier League final have been confirmed after a dramatic night of FIFA 20 action at the Etihad Stadium.

City’s own Shaun “Shellzz” Springette will represent us on PlayStation, while Ben “SayeR 99” Sayer qualified from the Xbox bracket.

Shellzz dominated proceedings in the PlayStation contest, scoring 20 goals without reply and booking his place at March’s finals with a 6-0 aggregate victory over “ZakBoss0206”.

Meanwhile, the Xbox bracket was more tightly contested.

After winning their respective semi-finals on penalties, SayeR99 and City’s own Ryan “MCFC Ryan” Pessoa faced off in a keenly fought final.

It was SayeR 99 who prevailed, winning 3-2 on aggregate to deservedly earn a spot at next month’s finals.

The presence of former player and FIFA-fanatic Joleon Lescott alongside commentators Brandon Smith and Richard Buckley only added to the evening’s drama.

The ePremier League finals take place in London on 27 and 28 March.
