Manchester City and PUMA have unveiled our latest dedicated esports products – a limited edition clothing range comprising a new esports shirt and leisure hoody.

The shirt will be worn by City’s professional esports players Shaun ‘Shellzz’ Springette, the current ePremier League champion, and Ryan Pessoa as they represent the Club in FIFA competitions this season.

The striking design of the shirt is an extension of the digital clock graphic that features on this season’s home playing kit which celebrates the iconic 93:20 goal from the incredible 2011/12 season that provided one of the greatest moments in City’s history.

Manchester City has one of the most developed esports platforms in world football, with players in the UK, US and China and a strategic partnership with global gaming giants FaZe Clan.

Manchester City’s Official Exhibition Partner, Expo 2020 Dubai, will become the first front of shirt partner for a City esports shirt, having recently been unveiled as the Club’s new training kit partner. Nexen Tire and Etisalat continue their longstanding support of City esports and will feature on the shirt sleeves.

City esports player and current ePremier League champion, Shellzz, commented: “The new shirt design is amazing! I also like the introduction of a hoody this season which I know is going to be really popular in the gaming community.

“It’s exciting for us players and gaming fans when City and PUMA drop new products and every year the range just gets better and better.

“We feel really fortunate to have our own esports shirt to wear when we represent the Club and hopefully we’ll be celebrating more success in these shirts this season.”

The launch of the esports kit also sees the long-awaiting return of club legends Pablo Zabaleta and Nigel De Jong, who played an integral role in the 93:20 QPR game, that is immortalised on the back of the shirt.
