The City duo spent some time together before travelling to London to fine tune preparations after a rocky start to the season for both at the FC Pro Open.
Both determined to show their winning side, Tekkz and Mati began their fight in the Group Stages against Chelsea.
Bonanno took on Conkai on PlayStation while Tekkz fought JSharp on Xbox. Both tight contests, City were able to pick up four points through Mati’s 3-2 win and Tekkz’s end-to-end 5-5 draw.
The boys looked confident on the ePrem stage and things continued to get better and better in the second clash.
Bonanno looked unstoppable in his 6-1 win over Burnley’s Salmanahmed with Tekkz also picking up three points against Brad Colston with a 4-2 victory to keep us top of Group A.
Both City Esports Pros showed no signs of slowing down with Mati picking up a second consecutive 6-1 win, this time against West Ham’s GRK with Tekkz taking it to the wire but picking up another win for City courtesy of a 5-3 victory over Brigarmy17.
