Neat also competed in the event but was unfortunately knocked out in the latter stages of the qualifier.
Last season, Tekkz went undefeated as he qualified for the FC Pro Open. But this year would prove to be a more tense affair.
But the FC pro held his nerve to qualify on Saturday evening.
The weekend began with his games in the Swiss League format.

First Tekkz beat Ibra 8-2 with an impressive performance in his first competitive game on FC 25.
A 2-8 defeat to Obrun was followed up with an 8-1 triumph over Dylan Campbell.
Back-to-back wins over Hhezers and Ktzn with respective 5-3 and 5-7 results meant Tekkz would take part in Saturday’s knockout stage games.
And it was a tough start to the day. Tekkz’s first upper bracket game ended in a 3-5 loss to Niksneb and in turn the City pro was demoted to the lower bracket.
But Tekkz still had a lot of fight in him, determined to qualify for the FC Pro Open.
A 4-3 win in a penalty shootout after drawing 3-3 with SeanLDW saw Tekkz’s journey in the competition yo-yo between staying or leaving.
The final test that awaited Tekkz was in the form of Bandar.
But Tekkz showcased some of his best play as he won 6-2 to secure his place in the FC Pro Open.
