Manchester City have become only the second club in English football history to win the Men’s and Women’s FA Cups as well as the FA Youth Cup in the same season.

The Blues’ 4-0 victory against Brighton in the Women’s FA Cup final was the last piece of the puzzle, following our Men’s FA Cup triumph over Chelsea and Youth Cup victory against Manchester United.

By doing so, City have followed Chelsea in achieving the feat with the Londoners the only other side to lift the three trophies in the same season, back in 2017/18.

The FA Youth Cup was the first of the three for City in 2025/26 when Oliver Reiss’ team beat Manchester United 2-1 at the Joie Stadium on 14 May.

Our Under-18s had recorded wins over Fulham, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton and Blackburn Rovers to reach the final, setting up the tie with our cross-city rivals.

An eventful clash followed with Floyd Samba’s opener on 40 minutes cancelled out two minutes later by Godwill Kukonki before half-time.

Extra time loomed, only for Reigan Heskey to conjure a moment of individual magic with three minutes left to deservedly restore City’s lead and with it seal a fifth FA Youth Cup triumph in our history.

A second domestic cup followed only two days later when Pep Guardiola’s side locked horns with Chelsea at Wembley.

City’s route to the final hadn’t been without drama after the Blues came from a goal down with 12 minutes remaining to beat Southampton 2-1 in the semis thanks to goals from Jeremy Doku and Nico.

The latter’s rocket from range had sealed our record fourth successive FA Cup final berth and another moment of individual brilliance, this time from Antoine Semenyo, lit up the showpiece in a 1-0 success over Chelsea

Following a goalless first half, the Ghana international’s improvised flick into the back of the net was the difference on 72 minutes.

The success was our Men’s First team’s eighth in the prestigious competition and extended our record for the longest timespan between our maiden FA Cup success and most recent to 122 years, having first won the competition in 1904.

Then, the set was complete with City’s 4-0 win over Brighton at Wembley, which also completed a first WSL and FA Cup double in our Women’s First Team’s history.

Goals from Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw, Alex Greenwood, Aoba Fujino and Vivianne Miedema sealed the success which capped a magnificent season for Jeglertz’s team.

Congratulations to Pep, Andrée, Oliver, all of their staff and the players on sealing a historic success in 2025/26.
