Following successful tours in 2018 and 2019, City once again invite fans across the globe to see one of world sport’s most iconic trophies, live and in person.
Since 2018, City have visited over 30 countries with the Premier League trophy, including recent trips to Brazil, India, and Australia.
This year, the tour aims to bring international fans closer to the club than ever before.
Starting in France later this week, the trophy will be joined by City defender Aymeric Laporte, before heading to Houston and Green Bay in the United States as part of Man City’s Summer Tour 2022.
The trophy will then make its way to Spain, Japan, UAE, Korea and, for the first-time ever, Mexico, Norway and South Africa.
In addition to the international visits and in a first for City and the Premier League trophy, a stop on the 2022 Trophy Tour will take place on Roblox.
The experience will provide an opportunity for young fans and gamers alike to interact in a digital world with the Premier League Trophy, collect unique items and meet other fans.
The trophy will be accompanied by a City legend, who will join fans at a free event for a Q&A and photos with the trophy.
To celebrate the club’s first visits to Norway and South Africa, exclusive screenings of the Manchester derby and Manchester City’s away clash with Liverpool will take place respectively, allowing fans to experience a matchday in their home cities like never before.
Further match screenings during the Trophy Tour will also be announced in due course.

Throughout the Trophy Tour, Cityzens will also have the chance to enter exclusive giveaways and competitions for special City prizes and meet Official City mascot Moonchester as he joins the global tour.
Nuria Tarre, Chief Marketing Officer at City Football Group, commented: “Celebrating our historic success with our fans around the world is hugely important to Manchester City and it’s fantastic that we are able to bring back an Official Trophy Tour this year for the first time since 2019.
“As our global following continues to grow, we are eager to provide new and exciting opportunities for our fans around the world. This year’s Trophy Tour will bring authentic City experiences to a number of countries - some for the very first time – to allow fans to get closer to their club and celebrate our success with us, both physically and through digital activations.”
Haider Rafique, Global Chief Marketing Officer at OKX, said: “As this iconic trophy embarks on its global tour, we are delighted to be building on our global partnership to bring this iconic symbol of excellence to Manchester City fans from all around the world.
“Just as Manchester City are disruptors in the world of football, OKX are disrupting the world of finance as we bring true financial freedom within reach for everyday people. That the club is stepping into Roblox for part of this tour also speaks to its hunger for innovation and new fan experiences. We look forward to helping Man City harness crypto and Web3 to create more of these cutting-edge new fan experiences going forward.”
Details for each city’s trophy tour will be announced shortly and fans can keep up to date at www.mancity.com/trophytour and via the Club’s social media platforms.
All Trophy Tour visits are subject to COVID and travel restrictions.
