So, are you ready for another year of Battle of the Bands?
After New Divide took home the gold last season, Battle of the Bands is back!
Are you a musician looking for their big break in the music industry?
Do you want your music to be heard by some of Manchester’s biggest music legends?
Would you like the chance to play in front of a sell-out crowd at Manchester City?
We are looking for four artists or bands to take part in our Battle of the Bands competition hosted at the CFA Stadium during the 23/24 WSL season,
You could be in with a chance of winning five days’ worth of studio time at Blue Print Studios!
The fixtures where you can apply to perform at are below:
- WSL: City v Chelsea - Sunday 8 October at the CFA Stadium
- WSL: City v Spurs - Sunday 26 November at the CFA Stadium
- WSL: City v Liverpool - Sunday 21 January at the CFA Stadium
- WSL: City v West Ham United - Sunday 21 April at the CFA Stadium

At each game, you will have the opportunity to perform three of your own tracks to the stadium audience.
The supporters on the day will score you out of five with the average being taken.
The two bands/artists with the highest average scores will go head-to-head in a final showdown at the Arsenal fixture – our final home game of the season – on Sunday 5 May, where the winning artist will be crowned Battle of the Bands 23/24 champion!

Entries close on Friday 22 September at 11pm, after which our expert music panel will go through the submissions and select the top four artists that will be selected to play live in the stadium. our panel will be made up of some of Manchester music royalty, including:
- Blossoms
- Mike Joyce from The Smiths
- Doves
Successful musicians will be contacted by Monday 25 September.
