On CoachingHub, users can explore the world of football coaching with access to thought pieces and video interviews with representatives of the Club on different aspects of the club’s football philosophy, from coaching to nutrition, performance, and strength and conditioning.
The platform also includes ready-built session plans tailored to different age groups.
Manchester City uses the same methodology and philosophy across all its teams – from the Premier League title-winning men’s first team to the Continental Cup winning women’s first team down to the youth teams.
This has been a key part of the club’s success in recent years.
Jorgina Busquets, Managing Director, Football Education & Recreation at City Football Group, said: “At Manchester City, we have a strong track record in training players and developing coaches.
“For the first time ever, we are sharing our unique footballing methodology and philosophy externally with the will to contribute to improving the game at grassroots level and across the entire pyramid of youth football.
“We want to make sure that all those involved in coaching football – from parents supporting their children to coaches training competitive teams – have the best tools at their disposal.”
With access anytime and anywhere, users can learn at their own pace with regularly updated content and insights and further development of the platform to be added soon.
