City will discover our FA Cup fourth round opponents at approximately 19:00pm (UK), with the draw being broadcast live on the FA Player.

The fourth round ties are set to be played on the weekend of 28-29 January 2023, while the final is scheduled for Sunday 14 May.

Julian Alvarez will be striving to help Argentina overcome Croatia in an eagerly-anticipated World Cup semi-final on Tuesday evening.

The City striker has been in fine form throughout the Qatar tournament and was handed a starting berth in Argentina’s dramatic quarter-final win over the Netherlands.

WEDNESDAY

City v Blackburn Rovers | FA Youth Cup | 7pm (UK)

City kick-off our 2022/23 FA Youth Cup campaign with a third round home tie against Blackburn Rovers at the Academy Stadium.

City boast a fine recent record in the prestigious tournament, having won the FA Youth Cup in 2020 and finished runners-up in 2019.

Now Ben Wilkinson’s young side will be looking to write another successful chapter in our FA Youth Cup history and get our campaign underway at 19.00pm (UK) against our Lancashire rivals.

Gareth Taylor will address the media as City’s Women prepare for our final game of 2022.

The boss will share his thoughts ahead of latest Continental Cup tie away to Leicester City on Saturday lunchtime, with the boss also providing all the latest squad updates.

Leicester v City | Continental Cup | 15:00pm (UK)

After more than a month’s hiatus with the focus on the World Cup, Pep Guardiola’s first team are back in action as we play host to Girona at the Academy Stadium in a friendly clash.

The meeting with the La Liga side will offer our players an opportunity to get back to competitive action as we continue our preparation ahead of the return of competitive football later this month.

Girona, who are part of the City Football Group, are currently 13th in the La Liga table with all the portents in place for an entertaining clash with the action getting underway at 1pm.

The match will also be televised live on CITY + and Recast with subscribers able to enjoy every moment of the action.
