City’s Premier League meeting with Brentford on Saturday remarkably represented the 500th competitive men’s game staged at the Etihad Stadium.

Although it wasn’t the result we wanted against the Bees, the milestone showcases an incredible journey since we left Maine Road - and is the latest notable landmark in a special era in the club’s history.

From title wins to legendary performances, the Etihad has hosted a swathe of memorable moments.

And we’ve delved into the stats to mark the occasion.

MANAGERIAL MASTERCLASSES

Pep Guardiola possesses the highest win percentage at home and is closely followed by our maiden Premier League winning boss, Roberto Mancini.

The Catalan has a record of 137 wins, 19 draws and 16 losses, resulting in a 79.65 percent success rate, while the Italian’s percentage reads 74.4 percent.

Unsurprisingly, our much-respected third Premier League champion in the dugout, Manuel Pellegrini, comes in third highest with 70.24 percent – followed by Mark Hughes (68.42) and Sven Goran Eriksson (59.09).

GOALS GALORE

City’s club record scorer Sergio Aguero netted 106 of his 260 goals in sky blue at home and leads the pack that includes Raheem Sterling (51), Kevin De Bruyne (40) and Carlos Tevez (38).

FAULTLESS FIXTURES

Amid the number of opponents we’ve faced across the 19 years at the Etihad, we have a 100 percent win record against three teams.

South coast pair, AFC Bournemouth and Brighton & Hove Albion have been beaten seven times each by Guardiola’s side.

While we have also beaten Swansea in all our seven meetings, too – including Sergio Aguero’s debut for the Club in 2011.

FAVOURITE OPPONENT

City clearly enjoy playing Aston Villa, with our most home victories coming against the Villains.

In total, we have beaten the former European Cup winners 17 times.

Our last meeting with Villa came in euphoric circumstances when we battled back from 2-0 down to win on the final day of the 2021/22 season and claim our sixth Premier League crown - our eighth top-flight league title.

MOST MEETINGS

The Manchester derby is the most frequent fixture at the Etihad, with the clash being played 23 times

And there have been some memorable meetings with Manchester United among them.

Who could forget our maiden derby success at our new home in 2004, when goals from Robbie Fowler, Jon Macken, Trevor Sinclair and Shaun Wright-Phillips handed us a 4-1 victory?

There were certainly fireworks in the last encounter too, when Phil Foden’s and Erling Haaland’s hattricks secured a 6-3 win over Erik ten Hag’s side.
