Commenting on the Club’s ‘Market Place’ jobs fair, Pete Bradshaw, Director of Sustainability at Manchester City, said:
“Manchester has endured numerous challenges over the past year and as the city recovers from the pandemic we know that there are many people in our community who will be seeking new training courses and full time employment.
“The Club’s ‘Market Place’ jobs fair has been designed with these people in mind and will showcase thousands of job roles that are on offer from a whole host of organisations based in Greater Manchester.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone to the Etihad Stadium at the end of this month and wish them the best of luck in securing new job opportunities.”
Councillor Gavin White, Executive Member for Housing and Employment, Manchester City Council, added:
“The pandemic has had a massive impact on people’s jobs and livelihoods and a key priority for us as we emerge from it is helping support our local residents back into work.
“The marketplace event provides a brilliant one-stop shop for people of all ages to connect directly with leading local employers and hear more about the kind of jobs and training opportunities available and to apply directly for them.”
