We are excited to announce that following a successful trial, our large-scale Matchday Bus Network will continue next season.

During the trial, 92% of fans reported being satisfied with the service, finding it convenient, easy to use, and a great way to socialise with other fans on the way to matches. It also helped to provide an increasingly sustainable option for travelling to and from the Etihad Stadium.

The trial also allowed us to identify a number of ways in which we make the service even better.

As a result, we have tailored our pricing for next season’s Matchday Bus Network to make it even more appealing to families. Children under the age of five can now travel for free, and those under the age of 16 will have a discount of 50%.

Disabled fans can also travel for free, and all buses will be fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Adults will pay £6 for a return ticket from Zone 1, and £8 for a return from Zone 2. Single tickets cost £3 and £4 respectively.

We have also reviewed the routes, and have added several new spots, some of which were requested by fans.  Some of the least-used stops have been removed.

In total, the new Matchday Bus Network will see 15 routes operate across Greater Manchester and beyond, covering 64 stops. One bus will operate per route.

The services will be managed by Transport for Greater Manchester (TFGM) and details of the routes can be found on their website, as well as in the map below.

Buses will run at every Men’s First Team match at the Etihad Stadium, including all Premier League, Champions League, and domestic cup competitions throughout the 24/25 season.

Meanwhile, existing services and private bus hire systems will not be impacted by the Matchday Bus Network and are expected to continue as usual. Further information on the Bee Network’s wider services can be found on TFGM’s website.

Official matchday parking remains available for fans next season and will go on sale at 10am on Friday for our home match against Ipswich Town on August 24th.

There are also more sustainable travel options available, such as the Metrolink, cycling, and walking, and further information on these modes of transport can be found on our dedicated Travel & Transport Hub.
