Shortly after arriving in the Norwegian capital, Wright-Phillips and Onuoha headed to Bygdøy Curling Club for an introduction to one of the country’s most celebrated winter sports.
Under the guidance of coach Kjetil Bjørke, the pair took to the ice to learn the fundamentals of curling and were joined by local teams, including former World Champion Pia Trulsen.
On Friday morning, the visit continued with a trip to Korketrekkeren, with the City legends taking to the slopes to experience traditional Norwegian tobogganing, followed by a visit to Unisport on Saturday morning for a meet and greet with fans.
The visit concluded on Saturday evening with a match screening event at Carls, attended by fans across Oslo, including members of the Official Supporters Club in Norway.
Special guests included friends from the curling and toboggan experiences, representatives from Viaplay, freestyler Christian Karlsen and British Ambassador to Norway, Jan Thompson.
A lively atmosphere greeted City’s win over Leeds United, bringing the visit to a fitting close and further strengthening the bond between the Club and its Norwegian supporters.
