Matias Bonanno joins Tekkz in qualifying for the FC Pro Open after a fantastic showing against some of the Pro scenes very best.

On Friday evening, Bonanno nearly went undefeated in Swiss with his only loss coming to teammate Tekkz as the two were drawn against each other.

It was goals galore for Bonanno in his other fixtures as he beat Damie 6-1, K1John 6-4, P.Neto 6-1 and Jistennsq 4-3 to qualify for the knockout group stage.

On Sunday, Matias’s birthday, he took to the main stage in front of hundreds of thousands of viewers on Twitch as he faced Emre Yilmaz in his first game.

Bonanno came back from 2-0 down to beat the reigning Champions League winner 3-2 in an incredibly tight game.

Continuing his rich reign of form, Bonanno then faced RBLZ Gamings Anders Verjgang – a formidable name in the FC24 scene.

Matias was able to defend the majority of Verjgangs attacks, beating him 4-2 to qualify for the FC Pro Open with an almost 100% record.

To top off his birthday and his impressive performances over the weekend, Bonanno was awarded Player of the Day.

Congratulations to both Matias and Tekkz on qualifying for the FC Pro Open, everyone at Manchester City is excited to see you compete next month!
