The Argentine helped City create history last weekend when we became the first club in ePremier League history to win the title back-to-back-to-back.
The 23-year-old joined City in 2023 and has won every ePremier League final he has competed in, holding an impressive 100%-win record in England.
And three years on from his first trophy lift with the Club, the latest title triumph still feels just as special for Bonanno.
“The comparison to the rest of the titles for me was the same feeling than the first one,” said Bonanno with a huge smile.
“It’s an amazing feeling; it’s something you can’t explain.
“I feel the same because it’s a similar situation than the last season, if we didn’t win, we are not going to play eChampions League or World Championship. So it’s a similar feeling than the last season.”

After Jafonso beat Leeds United’s Niksneb 3-2 in the first leg of the final, it provided the perfect setting that saw former team-mates Bonanno and Tekkz two ePremier League titans, go head-to-head.
The match provided all the drama with Tekkz taking the lead three times with Bonanno replying on all occasions.
With the game deep into extra-time, Bonanno showcased class, composure and experience to take a two-goal lead in the dying embers of the match to seal an 8-6 win on aggregate.
“In the final Jafonso did a really good job in the first match,” began Bonanno.
“So I was thinking I need to have the control of the match against Tekkz because he’s doing possession too.
“And then when I started losing, it was a little bit more difficult because I had two really good chances in the match in the beginning.

“And then in one part of the match, I was thinking I’m going to lose because it was in 80 minutes and I was losing, so it was a really hard match.”
City’s triumph at the ePremier League means Jafonso and Bonanno will represent the Club at the eChampions League and FC Pro World Championships.
The two highly sought after competitions will see the best FC pro players from around the world fight for the two prestigious titles.
And for Bonanno, they are two competitions he will be hungry to win for the first time in his career and is excited to once again have the opportunity to compete in both.
“We have a lot of time [before the competitions,” said Bonanno.
“But of course the goal of the season always is to be in the World Championship and play the eChampions League and fight for the titles.
“I think eChampions League is special for me and for everyone to play in.
“So of course I’m really happy to play both tournaments.”
