City in the Community (CITC) has relaunched several programmes to mark the start of a new year, as well as introducing a brand-new session!

The programmes range across all age groups and cater to a variety of skills, abilities and needs.

New programme, Mums+, is delivered on a Monday night at the City Football Academy and caters for mums, sisters and all women aged 16 plus.

The Mums+ programme welcomes participants of all abilities.

Whether you attend alone, with a friend or a family member, everyone is welcome.

The relaunched City Careers programme welcomed a new group of participants for 2022.

In partnership with the Princess Trust and Greater Manchester Combine Authority the City Careers programme is an eight-week programme that aims to help young people (16-25) from Manchester into employment, education, and training.

CITC’s work for youngsters also restarted with City Play Together.

The City Play Together initiative aims to help get families and their children aged two to five taking part in physical activity together.

The sessions are currently held at three youth centres across Greater Manchester.
