Following the Government’s announcement delaying the introduction of Step 4 of the roadmap out of lockdown until July 19, the Club has taken the decision to reschedule its ‘Market Place’ jobs fair at the Etihad Stadium, which was due to take place at the start of next month.

The event, which will be the first of its kind in Manchester, is aimed at matching local people with viable job opportunities and will showcase pathways into new careers and training courses.

Originally scheduled to take place on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd July, the ‘Market Place’ will now go ahead on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st July to enable as many people as possible who are looking for jobs or training opportunities to attend.

With more than 80 organisations from a variety of sectors confirmed to attend with roles from entry level apprenticeships to full time employment opportunities on offer, it promises to be a fantastic event.

As part of the event Manchester City will also deliver a series of workshops led by Club representatives to provide practical career advice and guidance, as well as inspire and encourage attendees to pursue their career goals.

The ‘Market Place’ will be free to attend but pre-registration will be required.

Whilst further information regarding the registration process will be announced in due course, anyone in Greater Manchester who is currently looking for employment opportunities or a change in career can register their interest now by emailing: marketplace@mancity.com
