The event has always been a way of recognising the fantastic support and commitment show by our Official Supporters club branches and provides them with a way to meet other branches ahead of the new season.
Almost 130 members, including those from branches in Argentina and the US, attended the event with 34 OSCs represented in total.

Before walking the short distance to the Etihad Stadium to watch City’s win against Newcastle, Official Supporters Club members were welcomed to the event by the Club’s Managing Director Danny Wilson and were able to watch an exclusive Q&A with former and current players, Steve Howey and Steph Houghton.
Most excitingly, those in attendance were able to see and have photos taken with our four trophies and were amongst the first fans to see the UEFA Super Cup in person.
Reflecting on the event, Kevin Parker, General Secretary of the Official Supporters Club, said “Another brilliant start to the season at The CFA meeting both home based and overseas supporters club members, and best of all – seeing all 4 Trophies. Thank you once again to Man City for hosting this brilliant event and inviting OSC members.”
The following day, the Official Supporters Club held its AGM at the Etihad Stadium where 200 committee members from around the world, attended to see in the new season.
As is customary for the AGM, the Official Supporters Club generously donated £18k to CITC, with Alex Williams on hand to accept on behalf of City’s community program. £1 of every adult OSC membership is donated to CITC and with membership growing year on year, the donation has thankfully followed suit.
On the day, Alex confirmed that ‘The monies donated by the Official Supporters Club will go towards our Health Projects and free Soccer Schools. The soccer schools also provide free food during school half terms for local young children.’
Along with the donation to CITC, Alex Williams was given the title of honorary life vice president of the Official Supporters Club ahead of his retirement from the Club.
The Official Supporters Club also donated £2.5k to both the Former Players Association and local team, Maine Road FC.
