Having fallen in love with City because of Carlos Tevez, Tim makes an annual visit to watch a game at the Etihad Stadium and, his love of the Club aside, he decided to create a Supporters Club branch due to the similarities he recognised between the cities of Manchester and Osaka.

“I’m a fan of the NBA and never watched football, but when I saw Tevez at the 2010 World Cup, I instantly became a big fan,” he explains.

“At that time Tevez was playing for City, so I started watching all the games and I went to see the pre-season friendly against Yokohama in July 2019.

“There is already a supporters club in Tokyo, but I wanted to make one where I live.

“The reason I created a supporters club branch is because Osaka similar to the city of Manchester. I go to Etihad every year, and the feeling is exactly the same as the city of Osaka.”
